MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

Maintenance Technicians required for leading Motorsport client based in Northamptonshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team with our Client who is a global technology business that delivers high performance engines and electronic solutions for customers in the automotive and motorsport sectors.

Maintenance Technician Role:

Electrical/Mechanical skills required for maintenance of CNC machine tools and associated manufacturing equipment.
Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements to include standard methods of work to ensure safe working practices.
Assess root cause of plant failure and implement effective countermeasures using FMEA.
Identify critical spares requirements and carry out TPM program.
Carrying out systematic fault-finding on all plant machinery and ancillary equipment.
Implementing TPM and carry out preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment, which includes fault-finding & repair.
This position will require you to work a 3 shift rotational pattern.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

Electrical/Mechanical with a proven experience in working with machine tools systems.
Vocational qualification minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. With an apprenticeship in Electrical/mechanical engineering a must.
17th Edition regulations desirable.
Good strong working knowledge of machine tools and line interfaces.
Ability to work as part of a team or alone and capable of sharing knowledge with solid fault-finding capabilities.
Good communication skills with PC experience in using Excel and Word.
Demonstrate continuous improvement.

Benefits:

Group Personal Pension Scheme in place which all employees (eligibility criteria applicable) are enrolled into during your 3rd month of employment, unless requested to join earlier. The Company will match personal contributions up to 6%.

Life Assurance is provided for employees, at a rate of 4 x base salary. This is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance provider.

Permanent Health Insurance is provided for employees, which will provide an income if you are unable to work for an extended period. This will be for a maximum of 5 years. This insurance is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance provider.

Private medical insurance is provided, upon completion of the probationary period. The Company funds single applications, however, spouse and dependent cover is chargeable to the employee. A Cash Plan is also available and is fully Company funded. Currently both are provided by BUPA.

25 days holiday + 8 statutory bank holidays. Service dependent increases are applicable.
