JUNIOR HOMOLOGATION ENGINEER IN DERBYSHIRE

Junior Homologation Engineer reporting within the Homologation team which supports all engine business Worldwide. The successful applicant will join a hard-working team, focusing on legislative requirements, primarily engine emissions type-approvals and material control processes.

Junior Homologation Engineer Role:

For key markets, maintain a detailed knowledge of the relevant regulations, and regulatory updates.

Dissemination of new legislative requirements to the engineering teams in a timely manner.

Development of processes to support the on-going compliance requirements associated with new and updated legislation.

Development, maintenance and tracking of the key Homologation deliverables, and development of type-approval documentation for multiple projects.

Liaise with type-approval authorities for engine certification.

Help to coordinate worldwide type-approvals as projects demand.

The role is UK-based and requires occasional travel, both within the UK, and overseas.

Junior Homologation Engineer Requirements:

HNC/degree educated engineer with a technical background.

Some experience within product development would be ideal.

Some knowledge of diesel engines is beneficial but not essential, but other automotive related experience is useful.

Regulatory/standards experience would be an advantage.

A flexible, hands-on approach with a drive to support the timely delivery of market leading, compliant products.

Well organised team-player, capable of communicating well at all levels within the business, and across disciplines.

We would welcome applications from graduate engineers with some placement experience ideally or who have studied homologation.
